Both people that police suspect were drinking alcohol at the time of the accident are underage. So the question we ask if they did turn out to be drinking is, where did they get the alcohol from? Personally, I wouldn’t think they got it at a bar, although I suppose it’s possible. The much more likely scenario, if they didn’t get it at home, is that they bought it. Now, if that turned out to be the case, then liability for the accident could possibly fall on the store they purchased the alcohol from. That depends on a few different things, like whether a fake ID was used. In any case, the alleged drunk drivers are still responsible for causing the accident. Anyway you look at it, their behavior was pretty reckless, and they need to be held accountable for it.
