LaCrosse, FL — There was a serious accident between a car and a semi-truck this past Thursday (March 26, 2015) in the LaCrosse area that left a 21-year old woman from Lake Butler with serious injuries. The accident happened at Highway 121 and Northwest 258th Avenue.
According to the FHP reports, the Lake Butler woman was driving a Hyundai Sonata along Highway 121, going south, when she came upon a flatbed semi-truck driven by 50-year old Kelly Warner.
Warner was slowing down to make a right turn onto 258th Avenue, she told the FHP, when she was hit from behind by the Lake Butler woman’s Hyundai.
The accident left the 21-year old woman with critical injuries, though Kelly Warner wasn’t harmed. Police said that more investigation might be necessary, but they don’t believe any charges will be filed.
