Location — Police said that it’s possible alcohol might’ve been a factor in a mid-day crash that killed one person and injured a young woman in Roseburg on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. They said that Kristi Kelley, 27, was killed and Tabitha Cannon, 20, was badly injured after Kelley’s car crashed along I-5.
This happened at about 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, near the exit for Del Rio Road on I-5. Kelley was driving a Chevy Traverse south along I-5 when she lost control and swerved off into a barrier.
Her car then went airborne and drove about 100 yards off the interstate, where it stopped. Kelley was killed in the accident and police said that she was not wearing a seat belt. Tabitha Cannon, who was riding as a passenger, was badly injured and had to be taken to a hospital.
Allegedly, the police think that alcohol might have been a factor.
