MOUNT VERNON, IN — Ronnie Ferguson was identified as the person killed in a tractor-trailer accident that was reported in Mount Vernon, Indiana on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015. News reports said that the accident happened at around 9:40 Wednesday morning.
45-year-old Ronnie Ferguson died when the car he was driving and a tractor-trailer hit each other while driving on Route 62. Police said that the the car drove over the median and struck the side of the tractor-trailer.
Ferguson was killed in the accident. A passenger of his was taken by EMS to a local hospital where they were being treated for unspecified injuries.
Several State and local authorities are assisting with the accident investigation at this time.
