Ashley County, AR — Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle car accident in Ashley County, Arkansas, on Saturday, March 21, 2015. The accident happened on Highway 82, just east of Montrose, around 9:00 at night.
According to a report filed by the Arkansas State Police, Kenneth Taylor was traveling with Carl Burns westbound in the eastbound lanes of Highway 82. It was there that they crashed into two vehicles.
One of the vehicles was being driven by Jorge Mondragon. The other was being driven by Carolyn Staudy. Both Mondragon and Staudy were injured and taken to Chicot Memorial.
Taylor and Burns were killed in the accident.
Police are continuing to investigate. Why Taylor and Burns were in the oncoming lanes of traffic is unknown at this point.
