Carrollton, TX — Local reports say that a train crashed into a semi-truck in Carrollton, Texas, on Thursday, February 5, 2015. The accident happened near the intersection of Belt Line Road and Interstate 35E, around 10:45 in the morning.
Reports say that the accident involved injuries, but the number of those injured and the extent of those injuries is unknown.
Witnesses to the accident believe that the train belonged to BNSF. Police are currently investigating.

I wish we knew more about what happened here. Semi-truck drivers have very specific rules they have to follow whenever they’re crossing train tracks. If a driver could clearly see a train headed its way, I wonder why he would end up on the tracks. Hopefully the police investigation into the accident is able to reveal a little more about what happened.
