Austin, TX Child Injured in Car Accident

According to local news reports, a two-car accident on Lamar Boulevard near Applegate left a 3-year old boy injured after his car was struck by 45-year old Martin Garcia Soto. Police said that Soto crashed into another vehicle that was carrying the child and then fled the scene.

The child was taken to a local hospital for his injuries and was treated for a concussion, reports said. Soto was later apprehended and charged accordingly, police reported.
