MISSOURI CITY, TX — A young girl was taken to the hospital after an accident with a pickup truck in Missouri City, Texas on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014. The article released by Click 2 Houston said that the crash happened on Wednesday afternoon.
Local police say that an as-of-yet unidentified 11-year-old girl was hospitalized when she fell from a moving pickup truck in the 2200 block of Maple Gate Avenue near the intersection with Cartwright Road. The report does not specify if the child was in the bed of the truck, or was in the passenger compartment.
The child was taken by EMS personnel in a helicopter to a nearby hospital, where an update on her condition was immediately unavailable.
The Missouri City Police are still investigating the accident.
