LOS ANGELES, CA — Seven people were injured after a four vehicle accident that happened in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014. The NBC LA report said that the accident happened sometime Wednesday morning.
California HIghway Patrol said that seven individuals were taken to the hospital after a tractor-trailer hauling molasses and at least three other vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway. The details bout the cause of the accident are still under investigation, but photos from the scene show the tractor-trailer tipped to one side.
Paramedics took seven people to the hospital, and at least one of them was reported to be in critical condition.
Representatives from the Los Angeles Police as well as the CHP are still working on determining the cause of the accident, and hope to release the findings of their investigation in the coming days.
