NEW ALBANY, IN — One person was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle accident with a tractor-trailer in New Albany, Indiana on Sunday, October 19th, 2014. The article from WAVE 3 said that the crash happened around 8:15 Sunday night.
Officials said that one man was taken to the hospital when the motorcycle he was driving hit a tractor-trailer on Interstate 64. The crash happened when the motorcycle he was driving drove over the center line of traffic and hit the side of the tractor-trailer.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital where an update on his condition was immediately unavailable.
Police are working to determine if alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
The Indiana State Police is still investigating at this time.
