PARKE COUNTY, IN — One man is dead and several people were hurt following a tractor-trailer accident involving a horse drawn buggy in Parke County, Indiana on Friday, September 26th, 2014.
Officials say that one man died when the horse drawn buggy he was operating was hit by a dump truck while on Highway 36. Reports say the truck driver was blinded by the sun when it hit the buggy around 7:00 Friday night.
One person was killed in the accident, and two others were taken to the hospital in a helicopter for unspecified injuries.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
