MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX – One man was killed in a serious accident that happened in McLennan County, Texas on Friday, August 29th, 2014, according to the article about the accident on KXXV.
Joel Lopez is believed to have been killed when the vehicle he was driving was struck by another car while attempting to turn at the intersectino of Highway 317 and Blue Cut Road around 6:15 Friday evening.
Joel Lopez was taken declared dead on the scene by emergency officials when they arrived. Three other people were taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital where updates on their conditions are currently unavailable.
Police are working to determine what role, if any, alcohol may have played in the accident.
