KIRBYVILLE, TX — A major accident between a pickup truck and a SUV sent two individuals to the hospital in Kirbyville, Texas on Monday, August 11th, 2014, according to the news release from KJAS.
Local police working with Texas Department of Transportation representatives have said that they have reason to believe that two people were hurt when a Ford F250 pickup truck collided with a Vhevy SUV for reasons currently under investigation while driving on Highway 96 near the intersection of Farm to Market Road 82 around 8:00 Monday evening.

The drivers of the vehicles, identified in the report as Steven Rutledge, and Anna Chesson were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Officials from the DPS are assisting with local agencies in determining the cause of the accident.
