Commentary:
The news report about the accident released over the weekend indicates that the tractor-trailer was making a turn when the accident happened. If this turns out to be true, I’d be very curious to see the layout of the road where the crash occurred. If the truck didn’t have the right of way, or if the driver failed to ensure the road was clear before he attempted the maneuver, the trucking company could be found liable for this accident, but it all depends on how the investigation turns out, either way, this situation needs a much closer look.
