Victoria, TX — Five people were injured after the truck they were riding in was crashed into on Highway 87 in Victoria, Texas, on Saturday, May 31, 2014. The accident took place around 4:45 in the afternoon.
Police report that Jeremy Wanjura was driving on 87 and failed to yield the right of way to Elsa Prado, who was driving a Chevrolet pickup with four children. The collision pushed Prado into a ditch. All five were taken to Citizens Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Wanjura was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
