ANDREWS, TX — A tractor-trailer collision sent two people to the hospital in Andrews, Texas on Friday, May 30th, 2014, according to a news report from The Permian Basin.
Authorities with details of the crash investigation have said that two tractor-trailers collided for reasons currently under investigation while driving on Highway 1788. Two other vehicles were also involved in the collision.

Two people in the accident were taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. It is not clear from the report which of the vehicles the victims were in during the crash.
The investigation into the crash is underway at this time.

It suggests in the news article that one of the tractor-trailers failed to yield, which may have some serious implications in the accident. If this news article turns out to be accurate, then the victims involved may automatically assume they have a slam-dunk, open-and-shut case, when in reality no commercial vehicle case is open-and-shut.
