Commentary:
People need to understand the paramaters for determining fault in the State of Texas should they ever find themselves involved in an accident. Texas uses the doctrine of comparative fault. Essentially when somebody is hurt, they claim that the offending driver is responsible for the accident. When there is no consensus on fault, a jury is given the reigns and makes the best judgment call given the evidence at hand.
