Mountain Home, AR — An accident in Mountain Home, Arkansas, killed one man Monday morning. The accident occurred when Donald Freeman was turning onto Highway 5 and came into the path of a car being driven by Gregory Thompson. Thompson’s car hit Gregory’s, spinning it into the path of an 18-wheeler being driven by Richard Rife, who was traveling east on Highway 5. Gregory was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. According to reports, he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
There’s been no word on other factors that may have contributed to the accident.
