Reports indicated that area man Gary Crayton was the victim of a robbery that resulted in him being shot by the offenders. Police say that Crayton was on his way to a local bar with two other men unnamed when they robbed shot and abandoned him.

Authorities disclosed that Crayton was shot multiple times but survived the attack. He was treated for his injuries at the San Antonio Military Medical Center where he was listed as being in critical condition. Authorities are expected to investigate the shooting and find those responsible.
