Representatives from the Texas State Police have released the name of the woman that died after a road accident in San Antonio, TX on Thursday, October 30th, 2013, according to Fox San Antonio. Police currently have reason to believe Sharon Ledesma and her children – Dominic and Mallory, sustained massive injuries when she was struck by a car as she walked her children to school on Wednesday morning.

According to the statement released by officials, Sharon Ledesma sustained massive injuries in the accident and was transported by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a day after her arrival. Her 8-year-old daughter Mallory, and 11-year-old son Dominic also sustained injuries in the accident. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
