Man Injured by Car-Pedestrian Accident on Chrisman in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — There was an early-morning accident involving a man who was hit by a car, police said, this past Monday. They said that a man was hit by a car around 1:30 a.m. on Monday morning (October 27, 2014) while walking along Chrisman Road. He was critically injured by the accident.

This happened near the intersection with Charriton Drive. Apparently, the man was walking along the roadway that morning when he was hit by a car. Allegedly, the driver fled the scene, though police noted a woman in an SUV was also present at the time of the collision. However, they believe she was just a witness.

The man was taken to a hospital nearby and was, at last update, in critical condition. The driver who struck him has not been located, as far as the news reports are saying.
