According to Denison, TX news reports, a car accident along the Denison Dam on November 20, 2012 left 50-year old Aristides Sanchez Hernandez injured. Hernandez was reportedly driving a pickup truck south along Highway 91 at about 2:30 p.m. when he lost control of his truck and left the highway, sliding into the dam itself. A five-way accident in San Antonio, TX on December 2, 2012 at about 2:45 a.m. left one driver with serious injuries. Police reports said that a Ford Mustang was driving along I-10 near Callaghan Road and Medical Center when it crashed into an SUV, causing three other vehicles to collide with them. A man is currently facing life-threatening injuries after being struck by a motorist on Thursday, November 27th, 2012 in the 3800 block of Amarillo Boulevard East. The motorist, Rachel Burgess was turning onto Amarillo Boulevard when she allegedly struck a northbound pedestrian.

Scene of the Accident

The man was taken to nearby medical care, where he is listed in critical condition by Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit. Police did comment that neither speed nor alcohol were factors in Thursday’s accident.

UPDATE: Police have identified the pedestrian struck Thursday as Jerry Snopak.

According to local San Antonio, TX news reports, a car accident along Loop 401 on November 16, 2012 left a toddler, 2 years old, with critical injuries. A 77-year old man who was not immediately named was critically injured after he was hit by a car on West Avenue while riding his three-wheeled bicycle on November 19, 2012. Lee Ramon and a female minor were both injured when the ATV carrying the two rolled over at Hastings and Buck in Amarillo, TX on Saturday, December 1st, 2012. Ramon is reported to have suffered life threatening injuries and is listed in critical condition.

Scene of the Accident

The minor’s injuries were listed as non-critical, but was transported with Ramon to a local hospital. Police suspect speed played a factor in the accident, and neither Ramon or his passenger were wearing helmets.

Two people were seriously injured Monday when the car they were occupying struck a utility pole at high speeds early Monday, December 3rd, 2012. The car is believed to have been travelling against southbound traffic when it struck a pole, careening the vehicle to the opposite side of the roadway.

 

Scene of the Accident

 

The roof of the vehicle had to be removed in order to safely extract the driver; who required care-flight assistance to a nearby medical facility. Neither the driver nor passenger’s names have been publicly released.

Two adults and one child have been hospitalized with minor injuries in Corpus Christi after being struck broadside by a pickup truck  in the 1700 block of Ennis Joslin. After the collision the vehicle rolled to its side and skidded to a stop.

According to San Antonio, TX news reports, 37-year old Jason Hoffman was injured on December 2, 2012 after a three-car accident along I-10 at Callaghan Road that may have involved a driver under the influence of alcohol. Police said that Hoffman was driving west along I-10 at about 3:00 a.m. when he crashed into a Mitsubishi that had lost control and hit a concrete median. Felix Dlouhy, a 30-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, was critically injured on November 19, 2012 after a two-car accident along north Beltway 8. Sources said that Dlouhy was driving along the service road for Beltway 8 near US-90 at about 2:00 a.m. when he was involved in an accident with a Chevrolet Suburban.
