A woman in Beaumont, TX was injured in a serious two-car accident along US-69 on September 10, 2012. Police said that the woman, who was not identified, was driving a Mazda3 along US-69 in the early morning hours when she began to slow for a car accident that had occurred. According to reports, a pickup truck struck her Mazda3, causing it to strike another vehicle and spin into a steep ditch off of US-69. According to local news source, a three-car accident left three people injured, one critically, on August 21, 2012 in Pittsburg, TX. Pittsburg authorities said that a Honda Civic that carried Ronnie Justiss, 64, Janet Justiss, 63, and C.Y. Justiss, 93, was struck from behind along Highway 271. La Marque, TX authorities reported that a single-car accident on September 3, 2012 left four people injured, including 18-year old Francisco Briceno, 15-year old Sasha Soto, and 2 others. Galveston, TX news reports stated that a pedestrian accident along Seawall Boulevard on September 3, 2012 left Fernando Martinez injured. Police said that Martinez was walking across the 10300 block of Seawall Boulevard  at about 8:40 p.m. when he was hit by an oncoming white BMW. Joe Fleming, 78, was reportedly struck and injured by a motorist in Morgan Mill, TX on August 15, 2012. According to reports, Fleming was jogging along FM 1188 northwest of Morgan Mill when he was struck by a pickup truck. He sustained severe facial and arm lacerations in the accident. Local news sources in Mexia, TX reported that an accident between a motorcycle and a sedan left 47-year old April Evonne Ballou injured on September 6, 2012. Police in Mexia said that Ballou was riding a Honda motorcycle north along Highway 171 at approximately 6:45 p.m. when she was involved in an accident with a sedan that was traveling in front of her. A serious car accident in Mexia, TX August 17, 2012 left two people injured, police said. Gary Dyer, 18, and Dena Lunsford, 18, were reportedly injured when the pickup truck they were in lost control and crashed into a fence. Dyer was driving the vehicle and police said that he may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing the truck to leave the roadway and drive through the fence. A two-car accident in Levelland, TX left two people injured on August 15, 2012 after a police car was hit by another vehicle while in pursuit. According to sources, Officer Jim Dukatnik was attempting to stop a speeding pickup truck at the intersection of 13 Street and College Avenue at the time of the accident. According to Atoka, OK news reports, Skyler Geary, 20, Justin Quinn, 16, and Jonny Hamilton, 19, were injured after a single-vehicle accident along Highway 3. The accident happened on September 8, 2012. Reports said that the three were in a car that was headed east along State Highway 2 at approximately 10:00 p.m. when the car reportedly left the highway and crashed into a culvert.
