This is a tragic accident. An accident like this affects family and friends. The accident should be investigated in order to insure that this type of situation will not happen again in the future.
Late Wednesday night on November 7 2007 an alleged drunk driver caused a car accident which killed 29 year old Nora Bruce and 30 year old Jason Bruce. Fortunately it appears that Becca Marsh 8 Bryan Marsh 5 and their 9 year old cousin all survived. What makes this story even more tragic is that Becca and Bryan lost their dad in a similar type situation in 2002. The District Attorney will be pursuing criminal charges against the alleged drunk driver.
As an attorney these are the most gut wretchingly difficult cases I handle becuase of the sympathy I have for this family. The civil attorneys job in these cases becomes not only pursuing all possible civil remedies but providing as much support and counseling as I can for the family.
