Emerald Township, OH — 42-year-old Daniel W. Guy Jr. was injured in an 18-wheeler accident that occurred on U.S. 24 in Emerald Township, Ohio on Wednesday, October 28th.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Guy was heading west on U.S. 24 when he approached a slow-moving flatbed 18-wheeler and failed to slow or change lanes, crashing into the back of it. The flatbed trailer was being driven by 26-year-old Maurice W. Waller Jr.
Guy was allegedly trapped in the driver’s seat. He was extricated and rushed to a hospital via life-flight helicopter, where he is being treated for critical injuries. Waller was allegedly not injured in the accident.
