Suffolk, VA – One man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Suffolk on Thursday, September 3rd, 2015. The accident happened just after 6:00 am.
A man was driving his Mitsubishi 2-door eastbound along 58 when the accident happened. The vehicle went off the road about a half mile from the VDOT weigh scales for reason under investigation.
Rescuers had to remove the driver from the vehicle.
He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by ambulance. His injuries were serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
The accident is under investigation. There’s been no mention of excessive speed, mechanical malfunction, or medical emergency in connection with this accident.
