Trinity, Texas — A car apparently lost control and wreck while leaving a Trinity neighborhood, police said. This happened on Tuesday night of this week, July 28, and it left a 4 and 5 year old with serious injuries.
According to the reports so far, it appears that a man and woman, Joseph Collier (34) and Melissa Thrasher (32), were in a white car with their children and were driving out of Lake L’s subdivision that Tuesday night when their car lost control.
The car swerved off the road and overturned into some trees.
The two boys in the car with them were badly hurt and had to be immediately take via helicopter to a hospital. They are reportedly in serious condition. Right now, it’s not really clear why Joseph Collier, who was driving, lost control of the car.
Update: The police have recently filed charges against Collier and Thrasher, claiming that they were intoxicated at the time of the accident. The couple is also being charged with several other unrelated offenses.
