St. James, MO — Earlier this year, March 5, 2015 a man named Casey Cash was seriously injured in a wrong-way accident outside of St. James. 21-year old Cash died the following day from his injuries, the police said.
Cash’s car had been in a wreck with a semi-truck on I-44 on Thursday morning, just after midnight.
The news said that Cash had been headed west in the eastbound lanes of I-44 in his Mitsubishi Eclipse that morning when he crashed head-on into a semi-truck driven by Bikram Singh.
His car was badly damaged and some debris from the wreckage actually hit a Dodge truck that was nearby. The pickup truck driver wasn’t harmed, however.
Cash was badly injured and taken to a hospital in Creve Coeur, where he passed away nearly 24 hours later. The cause of the accident quite clear yet, though there was supposed to be more investigation.
