Ridgeway Township, MI — A man was hospitalized following an accident with a garbage truck in Ridgeway Township, Michigan, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. The accident happened near the intersection of Highway 50 and Downing Highway, around 5:00 in the afternoon.
Howard Bryant was traveling behind a garbage truck being driven by 36-year-old Germaine Crawford. Crawford had to make a quick stop because of a slowing vehicle driving ahead of him. The 46-year-old Bryant wasn’t able to stop quickly enough and crashed into the back of the truck.
Bryant suffered critical injuries in the accident and was taken to the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor.
The accident is currently under investigation.
