Tyler, TX — Two people were sent to the hospital after an accident involving three vehicles in Tyler, Texas, on Thursday, June 4, 2015. The accident happened near the intersection of Highway 31 and CR 21, which is about 11 miles east of the city.
Police say a truck failed to control it’s speed and rear-ended a vehicle ahead of it that was slowing down for a tanker truck driving ahead of it that was making a turn. The force of the collision drove the middle vehicle into the back of the tanker.
Inside that vehicle were a woman and a child. Both were taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. Their names haven’t been released. It didn’t appear as if the drivers of the other two vehicles suffered any injuries.
The accident is currently being investigated.
