KNOXVILLE, TN — Local officials have not yet identified the individual hurt in a construction accident that happened in Knoxville, Tennessee on Thursday, May 21st, 2015. Reports out of the area said that the accident happened Thursday afternoon, but were not clear as to the exact time of the incident.
One man, who remains unidentified, was rushed to the hospital after he was crushed by a portion of siding that had fallen off a single-story building he was working on in the 500 block of Cooper Street. At this point, it is not clear what caused the 20-foot-portion of facade to fall onto the victim.
The man was taken to Tennessee Medical Center for treatment after the accident.
