Cape May Court House, NJ — A man was injured in a single-vehicle car accident in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, on Thursday, May 7, 2015. The accident took place on Shunpike Road, around 9:00 at night.
The man injured in the accident was identified as 34-year-old Timothy Broughton. Local reports say that Broughton drove off the road and crashed into a tree. His vehicle came back onto the road, and he was ejected from the vehicle.
Police investigating the accident determined that Broughton was drinking before the crash. He’s been charged with reckless driving, DUI, and driving without a seat belt.
Emergency workers transported Broughton to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. There’s been no information on his condition.
