Brownsboro, TX — A woman died in an accident with an 18-wheeler in Brownsboro, Texas, on Wednesday, January 15, 2015. The accident took place on Highway 31, around 12:30 in the afternoon.
Police aren’t releasing the identity of the woman who was killed in the accident until her family can be notified. Reports say that she was driving west on 31 when she crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed head-on into the 18-wheeler. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene of the accident.
The name of the 18-wheeler driver wasn’t released. He’s told police that he tried to avoid the accident, but wasn’t able to.
Police are still working to find out why the woman crossed the road’s center line. No other injuries were reported.
