Anna, TX — There was a two-car accident late last week that claimed the life of a young woman from Anna. Police said that Kylie Mize, 18, died last Thursday (September 25, 2014) after her car was in a wreck along County Road 376.
It happened at about 11:15 p.m. that night, at the intersection of County Road 376 and County 426. Apparently, Mize was driving along County Road 426 and was trying to make a left turn onto County Road 376 that night when she was hit by a passing car, a Pontiac.
The accident killed Mize, but there was no word on the driver and passenger of the Pontiac. Police later identified the Pontiac’s driver as Jacob Tindall, 21, and his passenger as Marissa Dickinson, 22. Again, it’s not clear if they were injured in the wreck.
The news reports noted that Mize was trying to make a left turn, but probably couldn’t see very well at the intersection due to trees and foliage. They called it a “blind” intersection.
