CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — One man was killed in a road accident that was reported in Corpus Christi Texas on Friday, September 12th, 2014, according to the article released by KIII-TV.
Corpus Christi Police have said that they believe one man was killed when he was struck by a car when he was walking along or trying to cross Waldron Road on Friday night after a football game had been called off due to weather concerns.
It is not clear from the news article if the victim was killed instantly in the accident, or if he was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital where he died a short time after the accident.
Highway Patrol officials are working with Department of Public Safety representatives in determining the cause of the accident.
