Commentary:
The fact that witnesses reported the asphalt truck as the vehicle that sparked the accident when it crossed the median of the road is something that needs to be investigated. If true, then the asphalt truck’s parent company is probably cooking up strategies to insulate their bottom line from home. Unfortunately trucking companies wield hundreds of accidents worth of experience defending themselves in cases like this one, whereas victims have only experienced one or two collisions in their entire lives. This is why battling these companies alone can be a huge mistake. Arming yourself with equal experience is one of the only way to go toe-to-toe with this industry.
