HOUSTON, TX — A single-vehicle accident left one woman in the hospital in Houston, Texas on Thursday, August 21st, 2014, according to the article released by Click 2 Houston.
Police in charge of the accident investigation have said that they have reason to believe that one person was hurt when the vehicle they were driving is believed to have crashed into two barriers and a retaining wall for reasons currently under investigation while driving on The Katy Freeway around 3:30 Thursday morning.

The driver of the vehicle was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital where she was being treated for serious injuries.
Authorities are currently working to determine what role, if any alcohol may have played in the accident.
The investigation into the accident is being handled by representatives from the Houston Police Department.
