Falls County, TX — John Stewart was one of two people killed in a single-vehicle accident in Falls County, Texas, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. The accident took place that morning.
Stewart was one of four people traveling to a music festival in Louisiana. DPS has said that the driver of the pickup the four were traveling in drifted off the road. The driver over-corrected, which sent the truck off the opposite side of the road and into a tree. 21-year old Laura Onwudinanti was also killed in the accident.
Jake Hale and Megan Ritzi, who were also inside the vehicle, were taken to Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Ritzi has been listed in critical condition.
