Local news sources at the Ute Lake State Park said that 21-year old Sharina Pool was injured in a boating accident on May 26 2012. Pool was reportedly inside a boat with at least six others and was thrown from the boat into the water where she was hit with boats propeller. Police said that alcohol was on the boat.
She was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition by medical officials. The five people in the boat were allegedly charged with various offenses including providing alcohol to minor and contributing to the delinquency of minors. They were identified as Jonathan Maes 21 Logan Denton 21 Brittany Holt 21 Tre Orozco 18 and Spencer Norris 18.
