According to news sources a woman and her son were injured in Union City TN when their car rear-ended another vehicle. The accident happened along Everett Boulevard on July 1 2012. Diane Louise Dorman 41 and Blake Dorman her 10-year old son were identified by officials as the injured parties reports said.

Police said that Dorman was driving south along Everett Boulevard and had stopped for traffic when she attempted to change lanes. According to Dorman an 18-wheeler was driving toward her vehicle at high speeds so she quickly swerved into another lane. She struck a vehicle driven by 44-year old Herschel Gillins. Dorman and Blake were taken to a hospital for nonfatal injuries. Gillins was allegedly not hurt in the accident.
