According to local news reports, a woman was seriously injured on October 30, 2012 in Splendora, TX after a car accident at FM 2090 and Morgan Drive. Police said that the woman’s Honda was  attempting to turn from FM 2090 onto Morgan Drive when she was involved in a collision with an oncoming pickup truck. San Angelo, TX news reports stated that an 11-year old girl was hit and injured by a car after she had exited her school bus at about 7:33 a.m. on October 30, 2012. Sources stated that Gary Donivan, a 44-year old officer with the San Antonio Police Department, was injured in a motorcycle accident in Selma on October 29, 2012. Donivan was reportedly driving along I-35 at about 2:30 p.m. when he was involved in an accident with another vehicle near FM 1518. Local news sources in San Antonio, TX stated that 46-year old Naamon Alexander Durham was critically injured in a two-car accident at Roland Avenue and Risgby Avenue on October 29, 2012. Durham was driving through the intersection, headed south along Roland, at about midnight when his van was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe, leaving him with critical injuries. A serious collision between a Cadillac Escalade and a Chevrolet Suburban left two people injured on October 30, 2012. Police said that the driver of the Escalade was attempting to avoid a collision with a dump truck while driving along FM 2090 when she swerved into the opposite lanes of traffic. According to local news reports, an SUV that was headed along Twin City Highway on October 27, 2012 lost control and crashed into a tree after leaving the roadway. The driver and his passenger were both injured and taken to a hospital. Police said that the driver was critically injured, but his passenger was in stable condition. Otho Dale Noggle was reportedly struck and injured in Breckenridge, TX by a motorist on October 11, 2012. Police said that Noggle was hit by 36-year old Brandon Wayne Harris’ vehicle in the 100 block of South Miller street at about 1:00 p.m. Noggle sustained a serious head injury and was hospitalized as a result, sources said. According to Corpus Christi, TX news reports, a single-car accident along Navigation Boulevard at about 2:40 p.m. on October 25, 2012 left three people injured. The female driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee stated that she was making a turn onto Navigation when she lost her brakes and crashed into a pole. According to recent news reports, the grand opening of the Texas 130 Tollway between Austin and San Antonio has been tainted with a few accidents. Sources said that the roadway opened to traffic on October 24 and drivers were allowed to speed up to 85 mph, the new limit on the tollway. However, the area between San Antonio and Austin apparently has a high population of feral hogs, and at least two ran onto the new tollway. According to local news reports, Ethan Hagler was injured in a motorcycle accident on October 25, 2012 in Lubbock, TX. Police said that Hagler was riding along 84th Street and was hit by an SUV at Avenue J. The collision left Hagler in critical condition, but did not injure the SUV driver.
