News reports in Fort Smith AR said that on August 23rd at 8:45 p.m. a man was struck by a car at the intersection of Albert Pike and Wirsing Avenue. Officials say that the man was transported to the hospital and his injuries were not life-threatening.

Local news sources in Conroe TX stated that a single-vehicle rollover accident along SH 242 left one man injured on August 22, 2012. Police said that Jason Cockrell was driving a red Ford Explorer east along SH 242 and reportedly lost control of the SUV for unknown reasons.

Local Salem OR authorities stated that an accident between a Dodge Intrepid and  train left one woman with minor injuries on August 24 2012. Police in the area said that Graciela Garcia-Soto 34 was driving along Waconda Road Northeast and was allegedly crossing the railroad tracks when an oncoming Portland & Western train struck her Dodge Intrepid.

The White County Sheriffs Office reports that on August 22nd at 9:30 Wednesday night forty-four year old Allen Lee King was attempting to remove a rifle from a wall mounted gun rack when the rifle discharged sending a round through the wall towards the kitchen where thirty-two year old James Mitchell and thirty year old Jacob Morris were seated.

The round traveled into Morriss shoulder exited his neck and hit Mitchell in the chest.  Both men were placed in an ambulance and moved to White County Medical Center for treatment. Their injuries were determined to be non-fatal and they are both expected to recover fully.

Local news sources in Houston TX stated that a man in wheelchair was struck and injured on August 22 2012 after trying to cross a street. Police said that the man who was not named was using his wheelchair and crossing South Post Oak Road near West Orem when a pickup truck crashed into him dragging him a short distance.

According to local news sources a man in Pine Bluff AR was reportedly struck and injured in a pedestrian accident on August 18 2012. Donald Slater 53 years old was walking along South Locust Street at approximately 9:15 p.m. when a white Chevrolet pickup truck collided with him.

Police in San Angelo TX reported that an accident between a sedan and a moped on August 14 2012 left David Rogers 83 hospitalized. According to sources Rogers was driving east along College Street when his Yamaha moped was involved in a collision with a sedan at Chadbourne Street.

Local Tyler TX news reports that a pedestrian accident on August 24 2012 left one woman injured. Angela Chantel Hickman 23 was reportedly attempting to cross Varsity Drive at approximately 12:00 p.m. when a pickup truck crashed into her. She sustained nonfatal injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
