Graciela Garcia-Soto Injured After Car-Train Accident in Salem, OR

Local Salem OR authorities stated that an accident between a Dodge Intrepid and  train left one woman with minor injuries on August 24 2012. Police in the area said that Graciela Garcia-Soto 34 was driving along Waconda Road Northeast and was allegedly crossing the railroad tracks when an oncoming Portland & Western train struck her Dodge Intrepid.

White County, Arkansas, Jacob Morris and James Mitchell Injured by Rifle Blast

The White County Sheriffs Office reports that on August 22nd at 9:30 Wednesday night forty-four year old Allen Lee King was attempting to remove a rifle from a wall mounted gun rack when the rifle discharged sending a round through the wall towards the kitchen where thirty-two year old James Mitchell and thirty year old Jacob Morris were seated.

The round traveled into Morriss shoulder exited his neck and hit Mitchell in the chest.  Both men were placed in an ambulance and moved to White County Medical Center for treatment. Their injuries were determined to be non-fatal and they are both expected to recover fully.
