The United States Consumer Product Safety Commissionhas recently announced the recall of approximately 1300 QuadSport ATVsmanufactured by Suzuki. These ATVs were soldat Suzuki dealers between September 2008 and June 2010 for roughly $6650. According to the report the flame arresterscreen on the ATV can detach which can prevent the throttle valve fromreturning to an idle position. Thismeans that the driver cannot slow the ATV down which could lead to apotentially fatal accident. So far twoincidents of this malfunction have been reported but thankfully no one wasinjured in these two cases.

I was actually a couple cars back from this wreck, one of the first on the scene, and helped administer CPR on the victims. The truck driver was going way too fast, but it was actually his trailer that swung around and hit the suv, the semi-truck ended in the median.

At the company that I work for, e deal with monitoring construction activity and work around trenches and all sorts of construction equipment/vehicles.
