An elderly couple is recovering in the hospital following a natural gas explosion at their Irving Texas home on Sunday morning January 31st 2010. Joseph and Peggy Manthiey were in bed at the time of the explosion. Neighbors said Mr. Manthiey was burned the worst. Atmos Energy has since discovered the culprit a major leak on a service line across the street from their home.
