Fort Worth, TX — Three people were injured in an accident involving a firetruck in Fort Worth, Texas, on Monday, March 23, 205. The accident took place at the intersection of I-35W and Golden Triangle Blvd.
Local reports identify 26-year-old Armando Rodriguez as potentially intoxicated driver who crashed his vehicle into a parked police patrol car before crashing into a firetruck.
The patrol car was empty at the time of the accident. However, there were three firefighters who were injured when Rodriguez crashed into the truck. They were taken to Harris Methodist Hospital after complaining of neck and back pain. Reports say they were released after only a few hours.
Police charged Rodriguez with failure to vacate his lane, as well as failure to control his speed. Results of a blood test are pending.
