Commentary
There’s a lot we don’t know about this accident right now. I will say that judging the speed of any oncoming vehicle is incredibly difficult. Often, someone will think they have more than enough time before another vehicle reaches them. Then they get out into the middle of the road and find that isn’t the case. Before anything else, I’d be interested in knowing how fast the semi involved here was traveling.
