New Tripoli, PA — Authorities with the Pennsylvania State Police said that two 18-wheeler trucks collided along Route 309 last Sunday, leaving both injured. Dean Miller, 32, and Seldon Warner, 82, were both injured after Warner’s semi-truck pulled out in front of Dean Miller’s 18-wheeler.
This took place on Sunday night, March 15, 2015 at about 11:00 p.m. Miller was driving his 18-wheeler truck south along Route 309 when he came to the intersection with Mountain Road.
There, Seldon Warner was waiting in his semi-truck to cross the highway. However, instead of yielding, Warner pulled out onto Route 309 and was hit by Miller’s passing 18-wheeler. The accident injured both of them and Miller’s rig flipped over as a result. He was taken to a hospital along with Warren, though it appeared that one of them was in worse condition than the other. The news didn’t specify which one.
