Waco, TX — Two people were injured in a hit-and-run accident in Waco, Texas, on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. The accident took place in the 1700 block of Interstate 35, around 8:30 in the morning.
According to local reports, a woman and her 2-year old child were headed south when their vehicle was clipped by a white pickup truck. The force of the collision caused the woman to lose control of her vehicle. She crashed into the road’s center divider, which caused her to roll several times.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene.
The woman and her child were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Waco police are currently searching for the driver, and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
