Commentary:
Does anybody have the faintest idea if the truck towing the car was a small business, or was this a personal vehicle on a personal errand? It may seem at first-glance like an inconsequential detail, but believe it or not, it makes a great deal of difference. How? Well, a small business insurance policy is more than likely going to be considerably different than that of a private driver’s policy. If a business was behind the accident, then the business needs to answer for the actions of the driver they trusted with a vehicle. If the vehicle was a private one, then an under-insured motorist policy may be a factor, but due to the scarce details in the news, I’d need to see more information before I knew anything conclusively.
