OUACHITA COUNTY, AR — Brittney Chappel was identified as the woman that died in a single-vehicle car accident that happened in Ouachita County, Arkansas on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015. State Police reports said that the accident happened at about 2:20 Sunday afternoon.
20-year-old Brittney Chappel was killed when the car she was in drove off the left side of the roadway of Highway 79. Authorities investigating the accident said that the vehicle drove off the road before it struck a nearby tree.
Chappel was killed in the crash. A passenger in the car was identified as 19-year-old Brittney Michtell, who was taken to Ouachita County Medical Center.
The Arkansas State Police were handling the accident.
